Description

Feed the fish

  • Find a low bench or similar and place a hoop on the floor a couple of metres from the end
  • Put some toy fish into the hoop or use magazine cut outs of fish / pictures of fish the children have made
  • Explain to the children that the floor is the sea and the bench is the bridge they need to travel across to 'feed the fish'. They feed the fish by throwing a beanbag into the hoop containing the fish toys / pictures.
  • Challenge the children to see how many fish they can feed as a team in a given time
