Musical statues
Children dance to music and turn into a statue as quickly as possible when the music stops
To make musical statues more challenging children could be asked to balance on one leg when the music stops or encouraged to experiment with a variety of different balances on different levels when the music stops. Children could pair up and create partner balances.
